She was born in North Adams on December 8, 1935 to the late Theodore and Mabel (Blake) Garrison. Mrs. Chilson was employed at Nicholas Book Store and was last employed at Excelsior Printing retiring in 2001.
Patricia loved the ocean and whales and was an avid Red Sox fan. She married Donald E. Chilson on October 2, 1954 in the former Central Baptist Church in Williamstown. He died October 22 1974.
She leaves behind her beloved son Donald W. Chilson and his wife Laurie of Salem, N.Y. Her former daughter-in-law and close friends Diane McAlpine of Williamstown, Mass. Her cherished grandchildren Cassie Beverly and her husband Dana of Clarksburg and Connor Chilson of Salem, N.Y. and a great-granddaughter Briella Beverly whom she adored. She also leaves behind her beloved sisters June Gaffey of North Adams, Beverley Walsh of Pownal, Vt., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald E. Chilson, Brother Theodore Garrison Jr. and sister Barbara Sylvester.
FUNERAL NOTICE: Graveside services to celebrate the life of Patricia Chilson will take place Friday at 1 p.m. at the family plot in Eastlawn Cemetery, Williamstown, Ma. Memorial Donations are suggested for the Berkshire Humane Society through the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, Ma.
