Brent Lee Garriott, age 54, of Fulton, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 3, 2015.
Brent was born, September 9, 1960, in Fulton, Missouri, the son of Edward Garriott and Betty Winingear Garriott.
Brent served his country in the United Stated Marine Corps. He worked as a truck driver for Wolfmeier Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, going to car shows, and watching the Discovery Channel and GRITtv. He was a wonderful grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Those remaining to mourn his passing include his parents, Eddie Garriott (Maxine) and Betty Garriott; sons, Chance Garriott (Sarah), and Brent Garriott, Jr. (Samantha Thompson), all of Fulton, Missouri; daughters, Tia Garriott and Kim Lytle, both of Fulton, Missouri; brother, Richard Garriott of Fulton, Missouri; sisters, Kim Garriott of Thompson, Missouri, Brenda Garriott of Fulton, Missouri, Vicky McDonald of Fulton, Missouri and Ronda Schenewerk (Chuck) of Wardsville, Missouri; grandchildren, Bailey Crane, Abbigail Garriott, Brooklyn Garriott, Caleigh Garriott, Sophia Garriott, Daryin Cole, Natreyah Cole; best friend, Ed Estes.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Brandon Lee Garriott.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Dr. Gary Shultz officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
