Roxie E. Goad, 80, died at 8:40 a.m. Friday in Lutheran Hospital.
Mrs. Goad was a native of Mount Helen, Tenn., and lived in Muncie before moving to Fort Wayne in 1941.
Surviving are her husband, Brady L.; a daughter, Jeanne Rhoads, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a son, Hugh E., of Phoenix, Ariz; a sister; Ruth Goad of Allardt, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren.
Services at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Immanuel Baptist Church, 4202 Hessen Cassel Road. Calling from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Klaehn's
Chalfant-Perry Chapel, 2423 Fairfield Ave. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
