Funeral services were held Saturday, May 12, for Mrs. Ida T. Garrett, who passed away at her home in Munn's addition, Thursday, May 10, in Brush, Colorado. In spite of the fact that Mrs. Garrett had been seriously ill more than six months, her death came as a shock to her many friends in this community, where she had resided for the past forty years. Born in the State of Illinois, she came to Brush in 1894. In early life she became a member of the Congregational Church. She is survived by two sons, Raleigh, an invalid at home; Elzie of Cimmaron, N. M.; one daughter, Mrs. Tessie Forrest of Brush; one stepson, Leslie of Gary, Indiana and two step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Seierup of Loveland Colorado, and Mrs. Della Peacock, of Silver Creek, Nebraska. One sister, Mrs. Nellie Plumb, who had cared for her during her long illness, also survives. Survices were held in the Brittell funeral home with Rev. L. C. Dryden and Rev. A. E. Christiansen officiating. Mrs. C. P. Lamd and Mrs. Lila Lary, accompanied by Miss Anna Belle Lamb, sang. Pall bearers were Mike Heldman, C. J. Conner, Loren Bates, C. P.
