Mr. James Gregory "Greg" Garner, left this world on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 for a better one after battling a lengthy illness. Mr. Garner was born June 28, 1962 in Austin. Mr. Garner had a wonderful sense of humor, which he maintained throughout his illness. Mr. Garner loved his family, the outdoors, music, football, playing his guitar and reading the Bible and took special pride and delight in his daughter Siobhan. Besides using his God given gifts to work in commercial art, he also worked in sales and as a chef during his life.
Survivors include his one daughter Siobhan Stolz, of Woodbridge, Va.; parents Betty Ellis-Brown and Bill Brown, of Woodbridge, Va.; parents Betty Ellis-Brown and Bill Brown, of Powderly and James Beall and De Lois Garner, of Denton; one sister and brother-in-law Jane Garnett Hale and Jeff Hale, of Denton; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his grandparents Jack and Virginia Garner and Raymond and Eugenia Ellis, of Crockett.
A Memorial Service for Mr. James Gregory "Greg" Garner was held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel in Crockett. there was a private burial at Evergreen Memorial Park in Crockett. Callaway-Allee Funeral Home
