FROSTBURG,MARYLAND -- Oct. 3 - Gilbert Garlitz, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Garlitz, Grantsville, Md., died at Miners Hospital this afternoon from injuries received in an automobile accident Saturday midnight while returning from a dance at Finzel. The machine plunged over an embankment on the Finzel Road. Garlitz sustained a fractured skull and body bruises. Miss Lucille McKenzie and Miss Thelma Herring, Grantsville, Garlitz's companions, escaped with minor injuries.
