Fabiola M. García, age 90, a resident of Española, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2012 surrounded by her loving family.
Fabiola was preceded in death by her husband, Bernabe Garcia, sons, Delfin Archuleta, Gilbert García and Henry Garcia, grandchildren; Dennis García and Chris Garcia, parents, Benerito and Perfecta Archuleta and brother, Herman Archuleta.
Fabiola was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother she had a passion for flowers and enjoyed her time at flea markets. Fabiola always canned vegetables and loved to spend hours reading her bible, quilting and sewing. Fabiola always made sure her family was fed and her home was neat and clean.
Fabiola is survived by her sons, Clyde García and his wife, Tonita of Ranchitos, Ben García and his wife, Flora of Chimayo and Johnny García and his companion, Mary Lou of Chimayo, daughters, Aggie Lujan and her husband, Cipriano of Santa Cruz, Mary Padilla of Hernández, Gina Barela and her husband, Johnny of Española, Pat Trujillo and her husband, Audoro of Grants, Josephine García of Española and Pauline García of Española, granddaughter, Stephanie García of Española, brother-in-law, Leo García and his wife, Carol of Ojo Caliente, sister-in-law, Ernestina García of Monte Vista, CO, 24 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a devotional service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 06, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ojo Caliente Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Michael Luján, Michael Padilla, Jr., Adam García, Israel Montoya Jr., Danny García and Timothy García. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be April Olivas, Stephanie García, Denise Martínez and Michelle Padilla.
