Mrs. Frances I. Chance, 95, of Centralia, Mo., died Friday at 7:30 pm at her home.

Mrs. Chance was born Feb. 14, 1875, in Missouri City, daughter of the late Aaron Price Gano and Gertruce Chanslor Gano. She was married to Albert Bishop Chance, founder of the A.B. Chance Co., Centralia, on Dec. 17, 1898. Mr. Chance died in 1949. She was a member of the First Christian Church and PEO Chapter both of Centralia.

Surviving are one son, Gano Chance, one sister, Mrs. Margaret Greenlee; three grandsons, A.B. Chance III, Phillip Gano Chance and John Hardin Chance, all of Cnetralia; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Albert Buford Chance in 1928; and one brother, Horace Gano, in 1961.
