|Birth: ||Apr. 18, 1845|
|Death: ||Jul. 21, 1898|
Served with Co. G 6th Michigan Vol. Inf During the Civil War of 1861-65. He listed his occupation as a bank clerk. He moved to Carson City, Nevada, in the mid 1870s and slowly worked his way up to be the manager of one of the local banks. He died suddenly of a heart attack on July 21, 1898, at age 53. He was buried in the Grand Army Of the Republic section of The Lone Mountain Cemetery at Carson City, Nevada. His rather small but fancy headstone is made to look like building blocks on the sides to show that he was also a Freemason as well as a member of the G.A.R.
