Elizabeth Arseneault of Bathurst passed away on January 6, 2003 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst after a lenghty illness at the age of 89. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was born in Atholville, the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Perry) Gallant.
She is survived by her sons, Donald (Solange) of Atholville, Louis, and Roger, both of Quebec, her daughters, Carmel (Patrick) Hahoney of Moncton, Rose (Richard) Gobeil of Bathurst, Aline (Jean-Louis) Roy of Beresford, Lorraine (Marcel) Legere of Moncton, Rina Arseneault (Jim Finley) of Ottawa, Linda (Ken) MacDonald of Bathurst, 36 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ferdinand Arseneault in 1985, her sons, Jean-Marie, Leo-Paul, and Gerard, her daughters, Denise and Yvette, and her brothers Arthur and Norbert.
