Mrs. Elizabeth Fulcher, one of the earliest settlers and oldest residents of Fannin comity, died at her home about three miles southeast of Honey Grove last Sunday night.
Mrs. Fulcher was born in Christian county, Kentucky, October 23, 1828, and at the time of her death was 82 years old.
She moved to Texas in 1848, since which time she had resided near Honey Grove. Sixty-two years ago she joined the Christian church and to the day of her death lived a consistent Christian life.
She leaves one son, Mr. M. W. Fulcher.
The funeral service was conducted Monday afternoon at the Christian church by Eld. J. T. Ogle, of Paris.
