Wilma Limindia Apple, 79, of Ridgeley, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010 at WMHS-RMC.
Born April 29, 1930 in Orleans Crossroads, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Otis and Angnes (Shambaugh) Gaither. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Apple and two brothers, Bernard and James Gaither.
Mrs. Apple was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark's Community Church.
She enjoyed being a mother and spending time with her family and her dogs.
Surviving are one daughter, Susan Apple, Ridgeley; one son, Tom Apple, Ridgeley; three sisters, Bernice Sirbaugh; Janice Stotler and husband Melvin; Norma Mencer; two brothers, Johnny Gaither and wife Carolyn; Leonard Gaither and wife Betty; two grandchildren, Brittany Shank and husband Kyle; Ashley Albright; two great- grandchildren, Gaige and Mason Albright.
Friends were received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, (www.scarpellifuneralhomes.com) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services were conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Harold Shaffer officiating.
Interment was in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Orleans Crossroads, W.Va.
