She was born July 14, 1907, in Myton, Utah, daughter of Joseph Albert and Emily Jenevieve Gagon. Married Melvin Jones, May 12, 1926 in the Salt Lake Temple. They later divorced. Two sons, Leo Emerson and Jay Melvin Jones, born to this marriage, both preceded her in death.
She married Arthur James Cesario on Dec. 3, 1944, becoming stepmother to his children, Ina Ester and Arthur James Jr. She and Arthur were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in November 1945. He died Oct. 15, 1987.
She was self-trained as a bookkeeper and office manager. Moved to California in 1941 and became the office manager for Kaiser Shipbuilding.
She and Arthur served an LDS mission to a California Indian reservation and she served in the Relief Society presidency of their California Stake, among many church callings she held throughout her life. They moved to Arizona and then to Utah, where they resided in Alpine and Centerville before his death.
Survived by a grandson, Lee Jones, of Hurst, TX; two brothers: Ira (Marge), of Vernal, and Tom (Verlene), of Orem; and two sisters: Pat Colton, of Yountsville, CA, and Lillian Daniels, of Salem, OR.
Funeral Monday, Sept. 20, 2 p.m., Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., Bountiful. Friends may call from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Burial in Centerville Cemetery.
