Marie was the daughter of David Gagne and Elmire Lagrange. She immigrated to this country in 1909.

On Jan 27, 1913 in Berlin, NH she married Napoleon Louis Blanchette, son of Louis Blanchette and Lumina "Minnie" Marchand.

Their children were Marie Florence, Yvonne, Marie Jeane Eugenie, Louis E, Napoleon Jr, Henry, Irene, and Jeannette. Marie Florence, Marie Jeane, and Irene all died as infants or young children.

Note:
This family was incredibly hard to track due to census reports changing their name to Blanchard; Napoleon's name to Paul or Alphonse; and Marie's name to Marion. But they made their home in Berlin and lived there at least until Marie died in 1941. Her name on her death listing is Marianne. Napoleon was in West Stewartstown when he died and had been living in Lancaster.
