At the time of her death at D'Adrian Convalescent Center in Godfrey, Lillian was 87 years, 6 months and 8 days old. She was survived by 1 son, George N. Mager of Alton; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Harry Funk of Hardin.

In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, George; 1 sister, Julia Iola Schulz; and 2 siblings who died in infancy.

Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until the beginning of funeral services at 1 p.m. on 06 May 1992 at Hanks-Gubser Funeral Home in Hardin. Lillian was buried next to her husband, George, who passed away in 1967.

The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to Wilson Cemetery or to Grace United Methodist Church in Alton.
