It was Sunday morning, November 15th. A traveling salesman for The Kennedy Otto Manufacturing Company of Chicago, IL, Jacob, driving his Ford Roadster in fog, veered off a concrete spillway, 15 Miles S. of Cheyenne, WY. The roadster rolled and crushed him.

Jacob's passenger, W.T. Newman of Cedar Rapids, IA, survived the rollover with injuries. The two were en route to Briggsdale, CO.

Jacob, a resident of Lincoln, NE (2237 T Street), was survived by his wife, a child, and a brother.
