Inez Burgin McKinney, 76, of Olney, died at 2:10 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 1994, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Christian Church of Olney with Les Boldt officiating. Burial will be in the Crest Haven Memorial Park. Visitation, will be from 6 to p.m. today, (Friday), at Zirkle Funeral Home and at the church one hour before the services Saturday.

McKinney was born Oct. 15, 1917, in Noble Township, Richland County, the daughter of Levi and Sadie (McDowell) Fulk. She married Everett V. Burgin in 1932.

He died Nov. 12, 1964. She married Doyle B. McKinney on April 5, 1965. He died Oct. 28, 1989.

She was the owner and operator of Burgin Nursing Manor in Olney, which she started as a 12-bed facility in 1950. Burgin Manor has grown to a 150-bed long term care facility under her management. She was a member of the Christian Church.

She is survived by two sons, Warren Burgin and Gary Burgin, both of Olney; four daughters, Una Tarpley, Alice Brooks, Mary Hendricks and Diana Beasley, all of Olney; three brothers, Perry Fulk of Olney, Dale Fulk and Carl Fulk, both of Noble; three sisters, Eva Gibson of Noble, Ina Biehl and Viola Wilson, both of Olney; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson

McKinney was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, a son, a daughter, a sister, two brothers, a grandson and a great-grandson.
