Alfred Froemming, aged 40 years, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Froemming, Sr. of Fergus Falls formerly of Leaf Valley, died suddenly at Hancock, Minn., Oct. 20th. His death was a shock to his family and friends.
He was born and grew to manhood in Leaf Valley where his parents were well known residents for many years. All of his life was spent there and in this community. On June 20, 1912, he was united in marriage with Emma Brueske at Leaf Valley. Seven children were born to this union all of whom with the bereaved widow are left to mourn his loss: Roy, Earl, Ralph, Luverne, Bernice, Albert and Rosajean all at home. He leaves also his parents and eight brothers and sisters: Adele, Mrs. Fred Kuehl of Nelson; Edward and Walter Froemming of Leaf Valley; Frances, Mrs. John Kuehl, of Glyndon; Erhart of Nelson; Irene, Mrs. Walter Schoenick of Garfield; Luella and Irvin at home.
Funeral services are being held today at the Anderson Funeral Home, Rev. C. E. Hansen officiating. Interment will be made in Kinkead cemetery. The pallbearers will be Wm. Zastrow, Richard Schultz, Henry Wussow, Willie Schulke and Henry Dittberner and Frank Zastrow.
