Barbara A. Fritz, 70, of 24 Blue Mountain Drive, Kunkletown, formerly of Jim Thorpe, died Friday, in St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the widow of Charles S. Fritz. She was a social worker for Delaware County, working in Media.
Born in East Mauch Chunk, she was a daughter of Morgan and Irene (Moyer) Haak. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Aquashicola. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Club, Jim Thorpe.
Survivors: Sons, Bruce, husband of Linda (Reese), of Jim Thorpe, Robert R. of Media, David, husband of Jackie (Hilton), of New Bern, N.C.; sister, Patricia Pear of Brookhaven; brother, Morgan, husband of Mary (Demott) of Breinigsville; 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, George.
