Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Peter J. Mooney, of Dunmore. Michele was a graduate of Dunmore High School, attended Marywood University and worked as a server in the restaurant industry.
Also surviving are a brother, David, Dunmore; a sister, Patricia and husband, Jason Petula, Hershey; a stepdaughter, Victoria Frisbie, Falls; a stepson, Dustin Frisbie and fiancée, Rachael Salmon, Michigan; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Michele was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Peter J. Mooney and Ann McNulty Mooney.
Most knew Michele by her beautiful smile, which was as big as her heart. She was a talented artist who loved animals, music, flowers and spending "girl time" with Torie. Michele loved all things pink.
Private funeral services were conducted from the Albert P. O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge Street, Dunmore. Interment at Dunmore Cemetery.
