Mrs Catherine Fries died at her residence on North street, Friday morning, Feb 25th at 9 o'clock, after a p un-f til illness of but three days. She was 66 years of age, and very much respected by her many frends and relatives.

The departed leaves eight children and a large number of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. The funeral will take place at the German Evangelical Reform Church, to be conducted by Rev Grob, Sunday at 1 pm.

Mrs Fries was married twice, having seven children by her first husband and one by the last.

She has been a widow for the last nine years and has been a faithful member of the German Reform Church for a great many years.
