Mrs. Anna Abendroth, resident of Highland, died this morning at 2:45 o'clock of an illness after complications developed. She was 62 years of age.
Mrs. Abendroth was born Oct. 2, 1869 in St. Jacob and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Frey. She was married to Fred Abendroth Oct. 2, 1890 in St. Louis. He preceded her in death about a year ago. Mrs. Abendroth was a member of the Evangelical Church of Highland, the Ladies Aid of that church and the Royal Neighbors.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Robert Meyer, Pocahontas, Mrs. Joseph Branger, Mrs. Charles Keolz, Mrs. Edmund Matter, Misses Esther and Edna Abendroth of Highland; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Meyer, St. Louis, Mrs. William Becker, Highland, Mrs. Edward Kielbach, Grantfork; one brother, Samuel Frey of St. Jacob.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Evangelical Church at Highland. Interment will be made in the Highland Cemetery.
