Leta Belle "Lee" Knowles was born March 28, 1925 in Meauwataka, MI, she was the daughter of Charlie French and Maude Belle La Munion French.

Lee was the former owner of Lee's Aquarium in Parma, MI. She was a life member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary and a loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Lane (Mike) of Hanahan, SC and Suzanne McMurray (Thomas) of Beaufort, SC; sons, Randy DeGraw (Maree) of Maleny Queensland, Australia and Rusty DeGraw of Lake City, MI; brother, Donald French of Cadillac, MI.

She was predeceased by her husbands Henry DeGraw, Wilbur Bollinger, Everette "Pete" Knowles and twelve brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held, June 22, 2013 in the J. Henry Stuhr., Inc., Northwoods Chapel, at 1:00 pm. Entombment will be in Plantation Memorial Park. The family will receive friends the 21st in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
