Christopher Fremont

Chris Fremont, 54, died Saturday July 29, 2006, at his home, in Stillwater. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater with burial in Fairlawn Cemetery immediately following.

He was born April 11, 1952, in Northridge, Calif.

The owner of Fremont Woodworks, he was a master of his craft.

A loving father, brother, son, grandfather, hard worker and friend, he coached, chaperoned, cheered, comforted and championed his children. He was a tender and devoted father who put his children first and foremost in his life. He was also a natural athlete who pitched a mean fast ball for Arizona State and hit a sweet 7 iron. He also had a menagerie of animals.

If there was a friend in need or a story to tell, you could count on him.

He was preceded in death by his father, George.

He is survived by three daughters, Courtney Wallace and her husband, Trent, Skyler Edwards and her husband, Garrett, and grandson, Grayson and Ali Fremont and her son, Cameron Fremont; his sister, Mary; his brother, Dan; his mother, Irene.
