SARAH F FAUST--67: died Thursday after-noon [11-27] in the Hillview Nursing & Conva-lescent Home in Altoona. She had been in failing health for the past year & a half. She was born 11 Nov 1902 at Conneaut Lake, a dau of CharlesC & Almeda Hall Freeland. She was united in marriage to Benjamin Faust on 9 Apr 1924 at Cambridge Springs. The deceased was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints-StateCollege. She was a devout member of her church & had taught Sunday School for several years. She was a member of the Relief Society of the church. MrsFaust belonged to the Laides Aux of the Frank P Hommon Post-American Legion at Huntingdon. She had been employed as a clerk at the MillCreek Post office since the time her husband had served as postmaster.
Surviving are her husband & 3 sons: Benjamin Faust-III-Huntingdon; Charles Faust-Shilling-ton & Matthew Faust-SantaRosa CA. There are 10 granchildren & 2 gr-grandchildren. The following brothers survive: CharlesD Freeland-Cambridge Springs; Joseph Freeland-Bradford; Arthur Freeland-Erie; & a half-brother: PaulR Allen of Downey CA. One brother George preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon [11-30] from Brown's Funrl home-Huntington. Brother Charles Taylor, president of the State College-Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints & Brother Lynn Peterson of the church mission will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home, it was the family's request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Hunt-ington Chapter-American Cancer Society or to a favorite charity.
