David Leroy Freeland Sr. of Live Oak, Florida, died on Saturday, April 22, 2000 at the Houston Medical Center at age 63.
Mr. Freeland graduated from Vassar High School with the class of 1956. He was employed by Vassar Schools for 10 years.
He married Nancy Eikelberg on June 22, 1974.
David was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He retired as a mechanic for the City of Treasure Island, Florida.
He was a member of the Wildwood United Methodist Church in Wildwood, Florida.
Surviving is his wife of 25 years Nancy of Live Oak, Florida; three sons, James D. of Live Oak, Michael D. of Clearwater, Florida, and David Leroy of Bushnell, Florida; two daughters, Dawn Jescke of Sumterville, Florida, and Joan Morbidelli of Bonaire, Georgia; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, JoAnn R. Freeland of Caro and Dorothy J. Hoover of Fairgrove; and one brother Wright "Bud" Freeland of Barrington, Illinois.
Preceding Mr. Freeland in death were his parents Fred and Leola Freeland.
