Cynthia Diane Frederick, was a living angel, allowing love and faith to guide her life. Diane was a respected Scholar and Teacher with many outstanding talents including woodworking, gardening, poetry and her service to others and God.
At age 57, a resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico since 1980, passed away at St. Christus Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Diane received her B.A. Degree at New Mexico Highlands University. Cynthia taught English and Philosophy at New Mexico Highlands University. Diane also worked at Carnegie Library as a Librarian.
Cynthia was born on July 22, 1954 in Corpus Christi, TX to Rex Hardaway and Winnie Warner.
Diane attended First United Methodist Church in Las Vegas, NM.
Diane was preceded in death by her father, Rex Hardaway and step-son, Ricky Frederick.
Those she leaves behind will feel the loss deeply and embrace her memory in honor.
Diane is survived by her daughters, DiTina Jade Frederick and her companion, Joel "Zinny" Kennedy of Phoenix, AZ, Lyla Kay Maloof of Las Vegas, NM, son, Rob Frederick of Anaheim CA, granddaughter, Zetalyiah Lynn Montoya and her companion, Bob Maloof of Las Vegas, NM, mother, Winne B. Hardaway of Llano, TX, brothers, Dave Hardaway and his wife, Stephanie of Atlanta, GA, Mark Hardaway, John Hardaway and his wife, Debbie all Llano, TX, sister, Lauren Hardaway of Llano, TX, close friends, Mildred Terr and her family, Ida Santistevan, The Mishlers, other relatives and many friends. Let us remember her laughter, passion and warm embrace with divine love.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.
