Elizabeth " Bettye " Franklin, 87, of Ashland, Ore, died Aug. 14. She was born in Iola, Kan, and was a sales clerk with Montgomery Ward.
The former resident of San Diego was a member of Soroptimist International of Lemon Grove and Foothills Baptist Church in Medford, Ore.
Survivors include her daughters, Leila Burgess of Sutherlin, Ore. and Charlotte Williams of New Ringold, Pa.; sons, Milton of Medford, Ore. and Frank of Everett, Wa; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
No services have been planned. Interment Alpine Cemetery, Alpine.
