Howard Franklin Fox Sr., 80, a lifelong resident of Cleveland went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 25th, 2014 surrounded by his family. Howard was born in Polk County on August 9th, 1933 a son of the late Jack and Ruby Fox. He was an honorable discharge veteran of the United States Navy after faithfully serving his country. Howard was of the Baptist faith. He worked thirty seven plus years for Magic Chef. Howard enjoyed hunting and fishing but most was an avid golfer.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter Tressa Rose White, one sister Margie Fox Perkins and two brothers Willis Fox and Hoyt Fox.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of fifty five years Dorothy Jean Boring Fox, children: Tammy Fox Bolles, Howard Franklin Fox Jr. and wife Ramonda, Kimberly Jean Fox Cross and Thomas Wayne Fox and wife Wendie, grandchildren: Jason Cross, Brittany Ellis, Lacey Bolles, Logan Fox and Kirsten Fox Armstrong, Heather Jones, Chase Bleiler and Eli Fox; seven great grandchildren; two sisters Linda Stepp (Mackie) and Joyce Fox Shannon, two brothers the Reverend Paul Fox (Joyce) and Ronnie Fox (Claudette), numerous others extended family members and a host of special friends.

A celebration of his life is planned Tuesday, July 29, at 3:00 PM at Temple Baptist Church located at 3070 Harrison Pike in Johnny Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Chilcutt Cemetery with the family and friends serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 28th, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the church and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Companion Funeral Home and Cody family are honored to assist the Fox family with his arrangements.
