I believe this woman's name was actually "Ama" (often called Amy), although I do see it spelled Ana on her tombstone. I believe her to be the second or third wife of my brother-in-law's great-great-grandfather, Robert A. Bowman (buried in the Huller family cemetery in Neosho, Kansas). Ama A. Fox was born Ama A. Huller; I have documented her on several census records, usually as Ama A. but sometimes as Amy. I have also obtained from the National Archives her request for civil war pension benefits for her two (by then grown) children. It is this pension request that states that she remarried someone named Fox (no first name given) and the date of her second marriage; the pension request shows her current address as Sapulpa, Indian Territory which I think cannot be coincidence. The Findagrave entry for her first husband Robert A. Bowman is wrong and he is shown with an incorrect wife, while the Francis Bowman also buried in the Huller family cemetery is shown as the husband of Amy A. Huller. I have tried to contact the editor of the Kansas Bowman findagrave listings to provide my information but they have not replied. I can e-mail you the civil war pension files I have as well as other information such as census records. Ama A. Huller Bowman Fox had at least two children, Charles S. and Cora E. who I am trying to still track down.
