THUNDERBOLT - Vivian Juanita "Skeeter" Blankenship, 88, of Thunderbolt, GA. died peacefully July 12th, 2010 under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc. She was born in Savannah and lived in Chatham County her entire life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Sammy O. Blankenship, Sr.; Father, William L. Fountain; Mother, Lula Howell, and sister, Sara F. Lively. She is survived by two sons, Sammy Blankenship, Jr. (Teresa) and James Blankenship, Sr. (Susan); a daughter, Debby Buteau (Michael); 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Visitation: 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Thursday with the Funeral at 2:00 pm at Fairhaven Funeral Home with Rev. Brooks Cail
officiating. Burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
