Nancy cherished all of her family, but especially her six grandchildren. She always had a place in her heart for those in need and took great pride in helping them unconditionally. During her time spent working with the Catholic Daughters, she enjoyed the close friendships with all the wonderful women. Nancy took great pride providing services to all the families in need of funeral luncheons at Holy Family Church, but especially the Holiday Bazaar and the Santa Breakfast held each holiday season. When Nancy wasn’t helping others in the community, she loved spending time at mom and dad’s beautiful getaway at Lake Roosevelt or relaxing near their pool watching her grandkids play. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time working on her poolside flower gardens at home.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 49 years, Michael Bechard, her son Paul Bechard of Selah; sons Anthony and Cody and daughter Catherine; her daughter Cindy and husband Kenny Armstrong of Lacey; son Dylan Clowes, daughters Daniell and Taylor Armstrong; Nancy’s brothers Tom Foster of Des Moines, Ed Foster and Kenny Foster of Richland, Ron Foster of Yakima; as well as many beloved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Nancy is preceded in death by her father Donald, mother Marie Foster and her brother Jim Foster.
Our family would like to take the opportunity to say a special “THANK YOU” to Cheri and all the people at Memorial Hospice Center of Yakima for taking special care of our wife and mother.
