Beverly Jane Brownell, 69 years, of Aurora, IL, died peacefully amongst her family at home on Sunday, November 24, 2002. She was born June 13, 1933 in Concordia, KS, the daughter of the late Morris E. and Ethel (nee Gram) Fosdick.
    She was employed as the Director of Development and Volunteer Services for the Association for Individual Development in Aurora, IL. She was a member of the New England Congregational Church in Aurora,IL.
    She is survived by her husband, Ernest G. (whom she married on June 24, 1956 in Wakefield, KS); a son, Michael B. Brownell; a daughter, Lisa R. Jefferson; three grandchildren, Jerry A. Jefferson, Zachary C. Jefferson and Dakotah G. Jefferson, all of Aurora, IL and a sister, Wanda Fosdick of Topeka, KS.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John E. Fosdick.
    Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the McKEOWN-DUNN FUNERAL HOME, LTD., at 210 S. Madison St. in Oswego, IL. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at 7:00PM at the New England Congregational Church at 406 W. Galena Blvd. in Aurora, IL with Rev. Gary McGann officiating. Cremation was accorded the wishes of the family.
    Memorials may be directed to either the New England Congregational Church or the Association for Individual Development.
