Daughter of Helen Foss Forester and Henry William Forester, now deceased, she will be missed by her brother, Sturtevant Hobbs of Westwood, MA; by three generations of nieces and nephews; and by her cat, Mr. Darcy.
Elegant and colorful, she was a voracious reader and conversationalist, but her passion was music. She was an enthusiastic supporter of Young Concert Artists, and lived across the street from Carnegie Hall.
