HARTFORD CITY - Virginia Lucille Boughman "Ginny", 82, died at 8:10 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at her residence.

She was born in Bryant, Indiana on March 24, 1930 to the late Curtis A. Ford and the late Mary E. (Heitzman) Ford.

Ginny married Floyd Wilson Boughman on March 11, 1966 in Hartford City. He precedes her in death on December 9, 1991.

She was a homemaker and she was co-owner of Floyd's Auto Repair Shop with her husband. In her early years she was a cook at the Elks and Moose. She had moved to Hartford City from Portland forty-six years ago.

Ginny was a member of Calvary Christian Lighthouse Church. She was also a member of the Elks, AMVETS and Moose.

Ginny loved her grandchildren and loved to sew and was a seamstress for many people in the community. She was also a great cook.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Connie E. Ward of Hartford City, Bruce Wayne Peters of Hartford City, Sherry L. Neff of Hartford City, Greg L. (wife, Trish) Peters of Hartford City, Kathy Y. Peters of Hartford City, Mark R. (wife, Amy) Boughman of Hartford City, Judy A. (husband, Steve T.) Confer of Dunkirk, Kirk Allen Boughman of Hartford City; eighteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister, Mabel Hicks; brothers, Lester Ford, Irvin Ford and Elmer Ford.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City with Pastor Gary Hall of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2012 and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at Keplinger Funeral Home.
