A. L. Ford, 65, of 218 South Diamond Street, a structural engineer, died at the
General hospital Wednesday afternoon after an illness of several weeks.
Mr. Ford was associated with the Mansfield Structural and Erecting Co., and was previously employed by the Hughes-Keenan Company.
Born in Owensboro, Ky., he had resided in Kenton for a number of years before coming to Mansfield 17 years ago.
Surviving are his widow; his mother,Mrs. Martha Ford; four sons, Curtis L., Charles N., James C. and David W Ford, all of Mansfield. Four brothers preceded him in death.
Fraternally he was associated with the Mansfield Lodge F.& A.M., 35; the chapter and council, Knights of Pythias Lodge of Owensboro; and past patron of the Ruth chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. He was also a member of the Park Ave. Baptist Church.
Funeral services conducted at the Finefrock Funeral Home 7:30 p.m. Thursday in charge of Rev. Hayes M Braker. The body will be taken to Owensboro, Ky. Friday
