Mrs. Julianne (Welch) Force, 78, widow of William Force Sr., died at her home in Goodland last Friday afternoon. The deceased woman was a native of Lafayette, but had lived in Goodland for 52 years. Her husband died in 1936. William Force of Mulberry, a telegrapher for Lamson Bros. and company, stock and grain exchange office, Lafayette, is one of three children surviving. Last rites were held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at SS. Peter and Paul's Catholic church in Goodland.
