WANDA LEAH FORCE
Wanda L. Force, 64, of New Sharon, died Sunday, March 22, at her home.
She was born in Russell and graduated from Russell High School. She was a member of the New Sharon First Christian Church, where she was also a Sunday School teacher and was active in the choir, the Loyal Daughters and was a former president of the Fox Hills Republican Women Federated in Los Angeles and was also a former girl scout leader.
Survivors include one son, Craig Force of Des Moines; a daughter and son-in-law, Marla and Donald Harding, of Urbandale; two grandchildren, Heather Marie and Donald Charles Harding III; and a brother, Gary Phippen of Tulsa, Okla.
Services were held Saturday, March 26 at the New Sharon First Christian Church with the Rev. Doug Clark conducting and burial in the Russell Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Loyal Daughters.
