—The funeral of Isaac H Fonda
was held this afternoon from the
residence, 183 Eighth Street, where
services were conducted by members
of the Bible Reading Society. Burial
was in Oakwood Cemetery. The deceased
was born in Coboes eighty three
years ago and had been a resident
of Troy for many years. Mr.
Fonda was a veteran of the Civil
War and was at one time a member
of Poet Tibbita, G A R. Besides his
widow, who was Harriet A. Thomas
previous to marriage, a daughter,
Miss (Mrs) Mattie Addis of Seattle, Wash.,
survive.
Note: Predeceased by two sons, Clifford I Fonda, 1892-1902 (fonda.org) and William Van Tassel Fonda, 1888-1918.
