The funeral of Alexander Fonda, who died Monday at his home on the Creek Road, was held this morning at 10 o'clock at St. Cecelia's church, the Rev. J. T. Driscoll officiating.
Mr. Fonda had been out of health for a long time, his death resulting from consumption.
He is survived by his widow and three children, also by his father, Adam Fonda, five sisters and two brothers.
Interment was in St. Cecelia's cemetery.
