Alida A. Stevens, 72, widow of James E. Stevens, died late Saturday at her residence, 79 Park Avenue, Cohoes, after a brief illness. Mrs. Stevens was born in Greenbush, N.Y. and has been a resident of Cohoes for over 50 years. Two daughters, Mrs. Alice Travis of Cohoes and Mrs. Minnie Charette of Schenectady; two sons, James Stevens of Buffalo and William Stevens of Schenectady; one sister, Mrs. Hattie Thompson of Brooklyn, and four grandchildren, survive.
The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence. Rev. Dr. Oliver H. Walser, pastor of the Reformed Church, officiating. Burial will be in Waterford Rural Cemetery.
