She was born on Oct. 6, 1906, in the Town of Summit, Juneau County, Wis., the daughter of William and Emma (Strampe) Foltz.
She was married to Everette E. Brandt on Nov. 16, 1924. Esther lived in Wonewoc most of her life.
She had been employed at Rayovac for 26 years until retiring in 1973. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wonewoc.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everette, on July 28, 1956; and two brothers, Irvin and Fred.
She is survived by her daughter, Norma (Edward) Stackman of Muscoda; a sister-in-law, Helen Foltz of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Joseph (Barbara) Stackman of Amherst, Edward E. (Patti) Stackman of Green Bay, and Evonna (David) Burr of Holmen; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 2 p.m. in ST. PAUL'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, Wonewoc, with the Rev. Kevin Cortez officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Wonewoc.
