Claude A. Follmer, 80, east Kansas City, a veteran FBI narcotics agent, died Saturday (Dec 15, 1984) at a hospital in Carthage, MO.
Mr. Follmer was an FBI narcotics agent in Kansas City for 36 years before he retired. He was a pharmacist. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy, 3838 Independence Ave.
He was born in Jasper County, Mo., and had lived in this area most of his life.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Follmer, Kansas City; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Ann Whitmore, Pompano Beach, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Frankie Six, Carthage; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Floral Hills Chapel; graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Park Cemetery, Carthage. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the church memorial fund.
