Woman Known In County Dies At Fairmount
Friends and relatives at Arlington were informed yesterday afternoon of the death of the Rev. Anna Folger, which occurred at Fairmount at 1:30 p.m. yesterday. Paralysis, with which she was stricken February 8, caused death. She was 80 years old.
The Rev. Mrs. Folger was the wife of Rev. L. L. Folger, native of Posey Township and well known throughout the county. Mrs. Folger was a native of North Carolina. Besides the husband she is survived by four step-children and other relatives in North Carolina and Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at the late residence at Fairmount Friday afternoon with burial at the Blue River Wesleyan cemetery southwest of Arlington. Short services will be held at the cemetery.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Folger had preached in Rush county on various occasions.
