DEATH OF MRS. HY. KRAUEL
The sudden death of Mrs. Henry Krauel, which occurred Sunday afternoon at the family home in Washington township, has caused profound sorrow among the large circle of friends of the family. Mrs. Krauel prepared a lunch for the family about 5 o’clock and while seated at the table complained of a severe headache. She got up from the table to go to the bedroom to lie down when she suffered what is believed to have been a stroke of apoplexy. Death followed almost instantly and before a physician could be summoned.
Minnie Annie Foderberg was born at Davenport, Iowa, and fourteen years ago was united in marriage to Henry Krauel, who with four children, are left to mourn her untimely death. The children are Laura, Louie and twin boys, Willard and Walter. In addition, she leaves a mother, one sister, Mrs. Fred Schroeder, of Denison, and two brothers, Ben Foderberg, of Denison, and George Foderberg of Holstein.
Mrs.Krauel was a devoted wife and mother and her friends were numbered by her acquaintances. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and her death has caused a profound sorrow in the community.
Funeral services were held this (Wednesday) afternoon at the German Methodist church in this city, Rev. E. Witter officiating, after which interment was made in Oakland cemetery.
The Review joins with the many friends of the bereaved family in extending sympathy in this their hour of sorrow.
