Funeral services for Jacob Bryce Fly, infant son of Cody Fly and Melissa Manuel of Pontotoc, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at Newsom Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial followed in Goshen Cemetery.
Jacob died Dec. 2, 2014, in Oxford. During his brief life, he touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends.
Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Gary McCaulla; and paternal great-grandfather, Marion Fly.
In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his maternal grandparents, Rebecca and Woody Franklin of Thaxton, Miss., and David Manuel of Sardis; maternal great-grandmother, Emma Collins of Grenada; maternal great-great-grandmother, Margaret Griffin of Grenada; paternal grandparents, Beth and Mike Harper of Charleston and Dickie and Paige Bowles of Charleston; and his paternal great-grandmother, Dora Fly of Charleston.
