Edna Flowers Brown, 83, of Moultrie, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Nov. 11, at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Cashwell officiating.

Born July 5, 1925, in Manatee, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Ethridge Flowers and Lucille Register Flowers. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, and was formerly associated with Colquitt Regional Medical Center and was a nursing instructor at Moultrie Technical College. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Thomas E. Brown and wife Charlotte of Moultrie; one daughter, Carole Brown Shiver of Moultrie; one sister, Jo Beth Little of Enigma, Ga.; and six grandchildren, Allen Saunders, Sheila Calhoun, Jonathan Brown, Heather Steffen, LeAnn Littleton and Nicki Jacobsen. Cobb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
