Dies At Home,
John Flowers, 68, a retired farmer of the Norman Park area, died early today at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services are set for 5 p.m. Tuesday at Sardis Primitive Baptist church with Elder Gaskin Barton officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
Flowers was a life-long resident of Colquitt County.
Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Pauline Truett of Norman Park; two sons, Leon E. Flowers and L. D. Flowers, both of Coolidge, Ga.; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Billy Roberts of Moultrie; four brothers, Henry Flowers of Leesburg, Fla., Walsh Flowers of Bradenton, Fla., Charlie Flowers of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Loy Flowers of Moultrie; one sister, Mrs. J.O. Kelly of St Petersburg, Fla.
