DALE, Eliza, born 4 May 1815 in Franklin County, Indiana Territory; played with local Native American children as a child; became a member of the Regular Baptist Church of Lick Creek 14 Nov 1840 and was an active and consistent member of the church for the rest of her life; mother of eight; said to be one of the best members of the community; died 26 Oct 1897 in Harrison Township; interment in Lick Creek Cemetery in Harrison Township.
