J. H. Flock's father, C. W. Flock, died at the home of his son, R. N. Flock, at Emerson, Neb., last Friday of old age and the body was brought down here on the 10:55 train to be laid by the side of his wife, whose death occurred in December, 1907. Had he lived two more days, he would have been 80 years of age, being born in York, now Toronto, Canada, March 12th, 1831. He lived out near the Flock home south of town for several years, but since his wife's death, has lived with the children. Besides the two sons already mentioned, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. V. A. and Mrs. Sarah Bell, of Omaha, and Mrs. C. H. Farrow, who lives in Canada.
